Aquatic Development Group (ADG) has been con- tracted to design and build the indoor waterpark at The Kartrite. ADG’s award-winning leadership and cutting-edge innovation will create a modern, state- of-the-art indoor waterpark for guests of all ages.
Inspired by the architecture of indoor waterparks in Europe, the Kartrite’s unobstructed column-free con- struction will feature a barrel-shaped transparent Texlon roof that will bathe visitors in natural sunlight throughout the year. This will allow tropical plants to thrive inside the waterpark, immersing guests into a vegetation-rich environment that is like no other indoor waterpark in the nation. The waterpark will also feature a signature mezzanine that is uniquely designed with luxury cabanas.
The Kartrite is perfectly situated to serve adventure- seekers from the New York metropolitan area and beyond, as it is less than two-hours from New York City, Northern New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
Inspired by the beauty of its Catskill locale with a nod to the region’s historic past, the eclectic, contemporary design of the hotel and indoor waterpark will set the bar for both innovative architecture and family-friendly adven- ture at every turn. The décor is decidedly cheeky, featur- ing a bold color canvas and chic furnishings harmonious- ly co-existing with charming whimsical accents that are sure to serve as a conversation piece and ice breaker.
The Kartrite’s namesake is the mysterious and inspiring worldly explorer character,
Kartrite Van Der Berris, who originally was introduced at the Camelback property.
