Welcome to the January issue Happy New Year!


What fantastic events we enjoyed at the beginning of December to start the festive season. The Christmas Lights Switch On, with special guest Ruth Leach (pg36), was full of community spirit and two days later Broadstone was full of locals and visitors again, enjoying the Parade and market stalls (pg20). The youngsters put so much thought and effort into their costmes, which were spectacular. Especially well done to all the category winners!


I hope you have had a lovely Christmas break and are now ready for the opportunities and challenges a new year brings. It is a good time to join a new organisation, either as a member or a volunteer.
