GOVERNANCE OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN CASTLEMAN ACADEMY TRUST
Do you have an interest in local education or wish to give something back to the local community? If so, you might like to consider joining the governance team of Broadstone First School or Broadstone Middle School.
We have a mix of incredibly supportive parents, excellent teachers and wonderful children in our schools, who have a love of learning and embrace our school values with enthusiasm. Our committed, thriving and supportive governance teams are drawn from parents and the local community and have a very valuable part to play in the life of our schools.
We currently have vacancies for Community Governors at Broadstone First and Broadstone Middle Schools. Our governors support the Headteacher with strategic planning and are the champions of the school experience for students, their families and for the staff, working with the Headteacher to do all they can to ensure that our schools are great places to be.
We would welcome applications from anyone within the local community of Broadstone, or further afield, who is interested in supporting the local education in Broadstone. It is worth noting that our governors come from very varied business backgrounds – a knowledge of education is not a pre-requisite.
The information pack available on the websites will tell you more about the interesting role and give you an indication of the time commitment involved. However, no article can effectively get across to you the feel or buzz of our schools, so we would be delighted to show any interested candidates round the schools, to give you a greater insight into the roles we are seeking to fill.
