component suppliers and 3D printers are dusting off their international atlases to seek out new opportunities and customers that are looking for world class innovation, the highest quality and flexibility of production. Boosted by the decrease in Sterling, our businesses


have immediately found themselves more competitive and this – combined with a new found desire to buy British – has seen a flurry of global contracts begin to arrive in Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Solihull and across the Wyre Forest.


“I wouldn’t say it’s a completely new trend, but we


have certainly seen a renewed focus in boosting export activities,” said David Ledbury of the Manufacturing Growth Programme, which provides manufacturers with access to specialist assistance to help them grow and improve. In his role as regional manager, he has a clear
