The event closed with a presentation from Chris Hayes, of the British Swimming Pool Federation detailing the latest activities of the trade association and the many benefits of joining. In the break-out room, delegates were able to discuss the finer points of a variety of Pollet Pool Group UK catalogue items include those from Bombas-SACI, Flexinox, Nextpool, Speck and Waterco Bombas.
With the business end of the visit complete, delegates were able to relax and enjoy an outstanding dinner dance late into the night including prize giving and competition giveaways.

Wunderbar Oktoberfest Experience One of the UK’s largest pool equipment suppliers, Pollet Pool
Group took their business to Munich in October. The team at Pollet Pool Group (PPG) were joined by a number of their British clients in the Bavarian capital to join up with Bayrol – the wholesaler of a number of PPG’s water treatment products – to
celebrate successful partnerships and look ahead to next year. Representatives from Falcon Pools, Home Counties, Howards Hydrocare, Homewood Leisure, Oxford Pools, Rio Pools and Aquastyle joined Pollet’s Peter Turnbull and Jimmy Lamb and Bayrol’s Juergen Koenig in time for the climax of Oktoberfest. Peter Turnbull, Pollet’s Manging Director said: “There is always more to learn, and you get a great chance to find out more on trips like these. It’s more informal and relaxed, and it’s a great environment to speak with your clients and for them to talk with us and Juergen Koenig to find out more.”

Juergen, Bayrol’s Director of Marketing and Development, commented: “We always like to include our customers and I hope they are all looking forward to a good weekend. It’s our way of saying thank you.” Representing pool and spa businesses across the country, clients were able to meet with Juergen in his home city, as well as sampling the real Oktoberfest experience, Segway tours and explore the classical city centre.
