Counter Current Adds Value
Counter-flow systems continue to enjoy increasing popularity in the residential market not least because of their added appeal, especially on smaller pools.
Most counter-flow system utilise pumps, generating a flow that resembles a straight jet that hits the body only at one point and can put irregular pressure on the body.
In contrast, HydroStar, the system, produced by German manufacturer’s Binder, works with specially-designed underwater turbines. Easily retro-fitted, the award-winning HydroStar creates a wider, more regular yet powerful current, more like in a natural river. HydroStar not only provides an intensive workout, the turbine technique is extremely energy efficient and consumes only 20 to 50 percent of the energy compared to standard pump counter-flow systems. Another plus: there are very few noises and vibration.
COMPACT UNIT
HydroStar was developed as a compact unit where all elements fit in one case. It comes ready for connection with a power switch and motor-controller for power and temperature monitoring.
