bus, OH has entered into an agreement with Blasch Precision Ceramics of Alba- ny, NY as the exclusive distributor of the Blasch engineered CeraLoop™ Channel Furnace Lining for use in the zinc, galva- nized alloys, brass and bronze markets. Blasch manufactures ceramic com-


ponents for the molten metal industry including the powder/atomizing and alloy production markets. The CeraLoop Channel Furnace Lining is a perfect ex- ample of Blasch’s engineering and ma- terial capability, proving that Blasch can customize and engineer its products to fit anyone’s specific process needs. Blasch and Allied have had a re-


lationship for over 20 years, working together at different capacities within the molten metal industry. Blasch’s Cer- aLoop Channel Furnace Lining is a sin-


gle component that will be added into Allied’s inductor technology systems and sold together as a complete system. “By bringing together Blasch’s en-

Jerry Donohue Announces Retirement


Jerry Donohue has announced


his retirement from his company, Mountain Equipment & Supply Company.


Donohue has served on the ICI Board of Directors for over 25 years. He was first elected in 1986 and served as president for a three-year term. In 2001, Donohue changed careers and became an affiliate Member of the board. Donohue has also served on the education, government affairs and membership committees. Donohue is a past Director of AFS


(American Foundry Society) and served on a Trade Commission representing the Investment Casting Industry’s interests. He was a member of the Investment Casting 4L Committee on Molding Methods & Materials. Previously Donohue was Investment Casting Systems

Director for Vulcan Engineering Company; he was Vice President and General Manager of Accu-Cast Inc and North American Precision Castings. Donohue has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. “In 25 years, I’ve seen lot of consolidation in the industry, a few companies go away and lot of companies grow to unbelievable sizes. But the best thing has been the friendship with other members,” Donohue commented.
