Our shelves are filled with castings that foundries have either donated or gifted to the Institute over the years. We also have awards and commemorative items– each with it's own story and background– that we've held onto and often we wonder what we should do with them. We know that industry has drastically

developed over the years. We've seen new equipment introduced... whether in the wax room, the shell room or the finishing room. We've experienced process improvements with shell materials, temperature controls, coring, gating, and solidification. This list goes on and on. So how do we protect that legacy?

Something that has contributed to the growth of the investment casting industry? We'd like to help you share that story... and share it with the community as a whole. So we've created an "Investment

the past, we've already have a section on our website, "Pioneering Perspectives," where we have undertaken a two year project of interviewing and archiving the pioneers who shaped this progressive industry, which expanded from a small niche business to a multi-billion dollar global manufacturing segment of the economy. We invite you to take a look at those videos and enjoy them for the treasure that they are. We'd like to continue to add to this collection and need your input as to who we should be interviewing.
Investment Casting Trends On another page of the Institute website is "Investment Casting Trends", a predecessor to INCAST Magazine. Published in the early 1960s, these quarterly journals provide a unique look at the industry during a period of rapid growth. See covers to the right. As the preservation of these
documents is a new undertaking by the Institute, we have yet to digitize more than the first two issues, which we proudly share with you for your reading pleasure on our website. Should
