WEDNESDAY 18TH OCTOBER


ANNUAL FOOD FESTIVAL QUIZ: CAFÉ ALF RESCO: 7.00 – 10.30pm: Sponsored and hosted by Café Alf Resco this quiz is always hotly contested and fiercely fought. Tables of 6 are available


THURSDAY 19TH OCTOBER


CHILDREN’S TEA PARTY: ROYAL AVENUE GARDENS : 4.30PM: Drop into the Royal Avenue Gardens to sample a selection of delicious food and drink from some of our lovely local suppliers and restaurants. Open to all young people who may bring a responsible adult!


FESTIVAL FEAST: THE GUILDHALL, VICTORIA ROAD : 7.00 - 11.00PM: Join us to celebrate the opening of the Festival this year with young and vibrant company The Pickle Shack taking the reins. FRIDAY 20TH OCTOBER


BEER AND FOOD MATCHING: INTERNATIONAL FERMENTED FOODS: THE GUILDHALL, VICTORIA ROAD: 7.30 – 9.00PM: Join the Royal Castle Hotel as they take you on a culinary world tour of fermented foods with a selection of tasting plates each served with a beer to compliment or contrast the flavours of the dish. DINNER WITH MARK HIX: THE SEAHORSE RESTAURANT, THE EMBANKMENT: 7.30PM: Mitch’s long term pal Mark Hix and partner in crime in the Tonnix range of wines joins The Seahorse for his annual slot. PORK & CIDER NIGHT: FESTIVAL MARQUEE ON THE MARKET SQUARE CAR PARK: 8.00 - 11.00PM: Join us for a fun packed evening of food, cider and ale and music in one of the festival marquees.
