Inspirational chefs, producers, food communicators and changemakers come together for an exciting programme of talks, panel discussions and Q&A’s curated by food writer Anna Turns. Explore how food has the power to change lives for the better and join the conversation for some enticing food for thought.
Sessions will take place in the Flavel Church, opposite the Royal Avenue Gardens on the Saturday while the Sunday morning Kitchen Confidential session will be in the Chefs’ Demo tent in the Royal Avenue Gardens.

WHAT’S IN A BOX? Giles Humphries and Myles Hopper, co-founders of The Mindful Chef recipe box and cookery book reveal how growing up in Devon inspired them to seek out the best food producers for their successful business. Food writer extraordi- naire Orlando Murrin quizzes them about their ethos.

SWEET AND SOUR Catherine Phipps, author of Citrus, sheds light on some unusual ingredients and makes citrus cocktails with Mark Diacono using quirky produce from East Devon’s Otter Farm.
SUNday 22nd october
10.15am -11.30am KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL Sunday morning question time in the demo tent. Dan Saladino hosts this lively question and answer session with a talented panel of top chefs. Join Mitch Tonks, Matt Tebbutt, Angela Hartnett, Mark Hix and Romy Gill MBE and fire away with your behind-the-scenes questions and culinary queries. A glass of buck’s fizz and a breakfast snack will be provided.
Dartmouth Community Bookshop will be selling books related to the talks after each event (cash or cheque only).
Saturday session tickets cost £5 each (under 16s, free): An Eat Your Words day ticket is available at the reduced rate of £20 for all six sessions which does not include the Sunday session.
