Dartmouth Food Festival - 2017 Festival Merchandise

Back by popular demand and to celebrate our 15th year anniversary we are thrilled that the very talented Becky Bettesworth has once again designed our fabulous Festival jute bags and tea towels.

Award winning, local artist Becky has produced this limited edition artwork which encapsulates the very essence of Dartmouth and showcases the historical boat float and wonderful architecture of The Royal Castle Hotel and retail outlets on the Quay. The design

Plastic Policy

The world and especially its oceans are being filled with plastics in every shape and form. It is said that a piece of plastic will be with us for at least 500 years before it completely degrades. Plastics are rapidly filling the landfill sites that still remain available and every plastic item that ends up in the water around the world risks marine life in so many ways and is finding its way into our food chain with possibly serious consequences.

The Dartmouth Food Festival takes place on the banks of the River Dart, which flows into one of the busiest waterways of the world and although we have always been committed to responsible food sourcing - reducing travel miles, environment impacts and maintaining welfare standards - this year, we are going one step further and banning the use of single use plastics - including water bottles, straws, cutlery, cups and plates and using compostable or bio-degradable alternatives.

We would like to thank all our exhibitors who have whole heartedly supported this decision and we are

encouraging all our visitors to bring along their own water bottles and bags - or purchase one of our limited edition jute bags so that we can do our little bit for the local environment.

Visitors will be able to refill their bottles with water for free at the following local businesses Cafe Alf Resco, The Royal Castle Hotel, Browns Hotel, The Dart Marina Hotel and Spa, Smith Street Deli and Dart to Mouth Deli. See our map for details or visit www.refill.org.uk

is available on luxurious, 100% cotton tea towels and on a premium jute shopping bag - perfect for all your food items purchased at the Festival.

To purchase our merchandise, visit our stand in the Royal Avenue Gardens - but hurry as we’ve only printed a limited amount and last year we sold out. Also available to purchase will be our popular chefs aprons - this year in a new colour - fine bone china mugs and new water bottles.
