It has been almost a year since the merger of Sangers and AAH and almost nine months since we introduced Careway to the Northern Ireland market. Both events have brought a new vitality to community pharmacy in the province and, judging by our customers’ feedback, both have been viewed as highly successful.


We introduced Careway as a completely new retail pharmacy brand with a very different approach to the market. It is based on collaborative working and I firmly believe that the results to date, coupled with the very positive response we’ve had from our customers, indicate how successful this collaboration has been.


It’s a partnership model that gives local pharmacies the chance to benefit from the support of a wider brand – and it allows them to choose their own level of involvement.
