Leicester Tigers star Sam Harrison joined club representatives at partner club Kuala Lumpur Tigers recently in the capital of Malaysia for its end-of- season awards. The awards evening celebrated the club’s achievements

and Harrison, with over 100 appearances for Tigers, hoped to inspire more success from the region. Since the first Tigers rugby camp in Malaysia during

2013, the KL Tigers has grown to welcome almost 500 players in 23 teams across all age groups. Leicester Tigers prides itself on being at the forefront

of professional rugby and has a specific global strategy. The club aims to identify at least one new global

partner organisation each year, either from clubs, schools or national governing bodies. Tigers rugby camps have already been hosted as part of global relationships in the USA, Japan, Italy, Netherlands, Malaysia and most recently in Dendermonde, Belgium. Scott Clarke, Head of Community and Global

Partnerships at Leicester Tigers, said: “To see KL Tigers grow as it has in recent years is a phenomenal achievement for all involved. Not only does it provide Tigers with a new pool of talent from around the world,
