Organised by Jen Searles and her partner Chris whose son Christopher was born sleeping on 1st February 2017.


At Jen’s 20 week scan, the first- time parents discovered their baby an irreparable heart defect. Two weeks later, the amniocentesis results confirmed their son would also have Down’s syndrome. Sadly, he was born sleeping just a few days later.


At Jessops, Jen and Chris were treated just like any other family by the midwives. The Tulip Suite, a bereavement suite, was comfortable and not clinical to help them through the difficult time.

Dates for your summer diary


Christopher, were given a camera to make as many memories as possible, and supplied with a cool Cuddle Cot to spend 72 interrupted hours with their son.


Money raised will go towards memory boxes and cuddle cots for bereaved parents as well as supporting Jessops Hospital.
