JULY 2017: ISSUE 100


On Tuesday 13th June, President Elect John Spittal presented to members and visiting Assistant Governor John Holme, his vision for the coming Rotary year. The theme for 2017-2018 is “Rotary Making a Difference” and, with this in mind, he outlined his plans to st rengthen and suppor t club


membership, improve humanitarian service, identify and support new charities and environmental projects, and to widen the club’s stated aims of developing and supporting events for youth in the area. In response, John Holme, from The Rotary Club of Auchterarder, expressed his delight that Kilrymont were particularly keen on youth projects, which he believes makes Ro t a r y s u c h a w o r t h w h i l e organisation. John also stated he was impressed by the extremely happy balance the Kilrymont Club has established between fund-raising and fellowship. John Spittal thanked John Holme for
