As was mentioned in last month’s Klips, Rotary in St Andrews sent three entries to the the District Final o f the Young Pho t ographe r Competition, the theme being ‘Reflection’, all by pupils at St Leonard’s School. All three entries

were placed. Emilia Forgues Puccio came second in the Intermediate category and in the Senior category Livia Plaumann was placed first, winning the Mike Phimister Trophy and a gift token and George Rees, who was first last year, came second. We were also delighted to report that Livia’s entry was forwarded to the National Final and came 2nd. This was an excellent result and on Thursday 15th, President Ewen Allan, Isobel Clifford, Grace Morris were joined at the school by Gordon Wowk from the St Andrews Club and Donald S t e wa r t t h e D i s t r i c t Coordinator for Young Photographer to present the District Trophy, District and National certificates and prize monies. Well done to all three very talented photographers.
