sign at college in Maidstone I went on to read for a degree in Textile Design, specialising in knitwear, at the University of Derby. I then spent several years working and gaining experience in London, working in the buying depart- ment of a clothing company, until I felt the inevitable draw of life in Dartmouth. So I packed my sewing machine and swatches, and headed down to the South West, where I met the love of my life and settled down happily into family life. However, a girl needs

My only
limit is your imagination
I rolled up my sleeves and went to find a job. With art and design very much in my blood it seemed logical to continue in employment in Dartmouth that allowed me to continue to flex my creative muscles. After more than a dozen years working locally in interior design at Fanfare Interiors, Sitting Rooms, and No.5 @ 15, I realised that I could offer my customers a little something more. It seemed the next logical step to offer my skills direct to the public and ‘Sew Fab Design’
was born. I offer clothing alterations and
repairs, as well as designing and making any number of soft furnishings from throw cushions, curtains and blinds, to headboards, dog bandanas and lampshades – and everything in between! My only limit is your imagination. So please feel free to contact me via email on
