34 Hospice opens new Dartmouth boutique


Rowcroft Hospice has opened a new boutique shop in Lower Street, Dartmouth, selling a selection of preloved ladies’ and men’s clothing, accessories, shoes and bric-a-brac.

from 9am – 4.30pm Monday to Saturday and Caroline is keen to stress that by making a purchase in-store, you’ll be making a huge difference to the lives of local people. she explained: “In 2016 Rowcroft’s shops generated a contribution of over £350,000 to the running of the hospice’s services; we are now looking forward to having a presence in Dartmouth to help generate additional funds and support this vital local charity.”

was cared for by Rowcroft earlier this year, said: “Having a Rowcroft shop in Dartmouth will make people far more aware of the hospice and the essential services it offers our local community.” The new boutique’s Lower Street location was chosen because of its very minimal renovation


requirements and prominent position. Its opening takes Rowcroft’s total number of shops in South Devon to 16, including a tea room in Churston, coffee shop in Ashburton and Furniture Outlets in Paignton, Torquay and Newton Abbot. To find out more visit www.rowcrofthospice.org.uk/shops.
