• IFS announces that ELESTER-PKP, a leading Polish enterprise in supervisory control systems for the railway and tramway power industry, has implemented IFS Applications 9.
• IFS announces that the Middle East division of Culligan, a leading global water treatment management company, has selected IFS Applications 9 to optimise its business units and support company growth (see panel, right).
• IFS announces that it is supporting UK-based National Grid’s new smart meter business, National Grid Smart, with the deployment of IFS Applications across the company’s core business operations (see page 4). The installation and operation of next-generation meters in UK homes will be managed by IFS enterprise software.
• Byggmax, a leading retailer of do-it-yourself products and building materials in the Nordic area, upgrades to IFS Applications 9 to support its ambitious growth strategy.
• IFS and global IoT technology company The Marsden Group sign a strategic partnership to jointly pursue opportunities in the oil and gas industry, helping companies benefi t from digital transformation.
• Avinor, Norway’s state-owned operator of 46 civil airports, has chosen to upgrade its existing IFS Applications suite to empower its users with a user-friendly and fl exible technical platform that provides a solid foundation for driving digitalisation.
FEBRUARY 2017 — IFS today announced that the Middle East division of Culligan has selected IFS Applications 9 to optimise its business units and support company growth. Culligan Middle East is a water treatment specialist with manufacturing, equipment sales and fi eld service divisions. The company will be implementing IFS Applications for service management to optimise mission-critical business processes such as service delivery, fi nance, HR and supply chain. With facilities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Qatar and Bahrain, IFS Applications will provide a single platform, giving visibility to company executives and managers while standardising and integrating processes across the company in order to modernise operations. “We chose IFS Applications because of the
solution’s comprehensive functional range, exemplary customer references in the utilities and water treatment sector, and the fl exible architecture and scalability that will support our growth,” Simon Boyd, Managing Director, Culligan Middle East said. “The IFS team presented a leading solution that, compared to the rest of the products on the market, met our current and future requirements.
