• Long-standing IFS partner ProV International decided to expand its footprint to include the Philippines to nurture the growth of IFS Applications.


• IFS announces that Middle East Propulsion Company has selected IFS Applications to help manage key operations at its Riyadh facility which services aircraft engines for the Royal Saudi Air Force.


• LANCom, a Slovenian provider of IT integration and implementation services, joined the global IFS Partner Network and will sell and implement IFS Applications to enterprises in the Balkans.


• IFS signed an agreement with the owners of Mxi Technologies Ltd to acquire the company (see page 9). Mxi is the leading provider of integrated and intelligent maintenance management software solutions for the global aviation industry.


• IFS announces that the Norwegian agricultural co-operative Felleskjøpet Rogaland Agder has decided to upgrade to IFS Applications 9 to increase business effectiveness and supply chain transparency. FKRA has been using IFS Applications since 1999.


• IFS announces that DSI will leverage the scheduling optimisation components of IFS Mobile Workforce Management to add value to their line of mobile apps for supply chain and service management. DSI, headquartered in the US, is a global leader in mobile-fi rst and cloud supply chain solutions.


What’s been happening in the world of IFS over the last couple of months


• JCS Consultancy Pte Ltd joined the IFS Partner Network as an authorised channel partner to implement and support IFS Applications across Singapore, shifting their focus from SAP to IFS.


• IFS announced the completion of its acquisition of Mxi Technologies Ltd. Mxi’s software, support and services will continue to be offered as a best-of- breed solution, as well as integrated into IFS Applications as an enterprise-wide end-to-end maintenance solution.


• IFS announces that leading Swedish fashion chain Gina Tricot has chosen to upgrade to IFS Applications 9 and extend its solution with built-in functionality to support assortment planning, allocation and replenishment across some 200 stores in fi ve countries.


• IFS announces that LankaBangla Finance Limited has chosen to implement IFS Applications 9 to support mission-critical processes for 1,300 employees and drive customer service effi ciency.
