1:1 SESSIONS


PLANS FOR 2017 Many of you will appreciate that the committee members and I are volunteers from companies that use IFS Applications, just like you. We aim to spend our time in the areas that will most benefit you as members. So, for 2017, I have asked my team to focus on:


n USER GROUP WEBSITE – The development of the website remains the biggest challenge and a key focus in 2017. In 2016 we determined the route we needed to take and received approval from the membership at the AGM held at the conference that we would be using some of our financial resources to implement this.


n IFS ROADMAP – We will focus many of our events in 2017 around both knowledge sharing and determining key product changes to feed into the Roadmap process. We will keep IFS accountable for reporting back on their response to our requests.


n USER GROUP EVENTS – A list of our planned events can be found on page 31. Details and dates will be shared closer to the time.


n COMMITTEE – We need to expand the committee to share the work across a greater number of people. If you are interested in coming onboard, then please contact me for more details of the roles we currently have.


I’ll be using IFS World Magazine to update you on our progress during the year.


A FINAL THOUGHT Our User Group only thrives on the involvement and con- tribution from you as members. We’d really like you to get involved in our planned events, whether that is as a contributor to our workshops, focus days or as a speaker at the annual conference.


n Are you proud of your processes, integration or best practices, or do you have an interesting experience that your fellow members can learn from?


n Do you want to help influence the roadmap by sharing your project implementation?


n Do you have any other ideas that can help us all improve?
