table clash with St Clears ended in disappointment on Saturday (Jan 28), as they lost 15-21. They fought back late on
after two early second half tries from the Saints but it wasn’t enough to give them victory and they had to settle for a losing bonus point. Craig Barnett put Milford
ahead with a well taken penalty but the scores were soon levelled when Geraint Jones scored with a penalty. The home side then took
the lead again as Josh Thomas scored under the posts before Barnett added the extra two points.

penalty to reduce the gap and Llyr Ebsworth then went over to score the Saints’ first try of the match but the conversion attempt was missed. That gave the visitors a
slender 10-11 lead at half time but the game was still up for grabs for both sides in the second half. There was a tense start
to the second half but the deadlock was finally broken when Saints’ Shane Morgan intercepted the ball in the middle of the field before running on to score. The conversion was
missed but matters soon got worse for Milford as one of their players was given a yellow card, leaving them a man down for 10 minutes.
