or the 19th year running, Seawork International welcomed exhibitors, professionals from the marine
industry, VIPs and the media to Southampton from all corners of the world. Attendance at Seawork’s new
venue at the city’s Mayflower Park was 7,637 visitors from 72 countries, all keen to explore in the region of 10,000 products across the halls, as well as experience the launches and demos that took place over the three-day show in June. There were 81 vessels displayed
afloat in the purpose-built Seawork Marina, many of which were available for demonstration and trials. A total of 615 exhibitors showcased
their products, services and solutions, which included many global debuts and launches. In addition, Seawork
provided the backdrop to many networking events, which were held across the three days of the exhibition. The not-for-profit membership
organisation, the SSA, which actively works with its members to identify global opportunities, improve performance and expand their portfolio nationally and internationally, held its ever-popular networking event during Seawork. Over 300 guests attended the event, comprising of maritime
organisations representing professionals involved in shipbuilding and repair, marine equipment manufacturing, as well as related maritime business. Returning to Mayflower Park in Southampton from 13-15 June, next year, Seawork International 2017 promises to be even bigger and better than ever. Seawork 2017

Conference will be held in the same week as METSTRADE 2016, which takes place from 15-17 November and incorporates the Marina & Yard Pavilion (MYP). This has been showcasing marina-specific equipment for almost a decade and has enjoyed significant growth over recent years. With this in mind, the MYP will move to Hall 5, which is next to the Conference location in the RAI’s new Amtrium building. The synergy between the Pavilion and Conference will offer another exceptional reason for marina professionals to visit Amsterdam. ICOMIA World Marinas Conference
