Amsterdam will be ‘marina central’ T


his November, the city of Amsterdam will be ‘marina central’ – the place to be for professionals serving the


international leisure harbour industry whether by developing, building or operating marinas or supplying the equipment that enables berths to be accessed and services to be provided for boat-owners. The Marina & Yard Pavilion (MYP), which is part of the METSTRADE Show, will overlap with the renowned ICOMIA World Marinas Conference. The METSTRADE Show will take place from 15 to 17 November, while the World Marinas Conference runs from 17 to 19 November, both at RAI Amsterdam. As the world’s premier


international exhibition for marine equipment, the METSTRADE Show provides a platform for almost 1,400 exhibitors from over 40 countries to showcase their products to more than 22,000 visitors. It combines new products, seminars and unrivalled networking opportunities for visitors to connect across countries, technologies and industry sectors. In addition to a wide range of


country pavilions, the METSTRADE Show features three thematic pavilions that represent smaller self-contained shows within the larger concept. One of these is the MYP, which has become the annual meeting place for professionals in

Surge in ticket sales for Southampton


Boaters and families across the UK and further afield are eagerly awaiting the start of the 2016 Southampton Boat Show as ticket sales surge during the first three weeks of going on sale. To date, sales are 150% ahead of the same time last year for the world-class, on-water exhibition, which takes place from 16-25 September. Now in its 48th year, the event


will showcase the very best that the international marine industry has to offer with thousands of
