provide an insight into the world of superyachts. “We own a number of marinas
that cater for superyachts up to 100 m and have been commissioned to design superyacht marinas across Europe, including the prestigious OneOcean Port Vell. An already successful marina, OneOcean Port Vell had ambitions to become a world-class home port for superyachts in the Mediterranean. To fulfil this aim, redevelopment
was needed, along with five-star facilities and services. Our team was called in to help with the master planning to deliver the ultimate superyacht marina. “The project began with a
detailed market study, including direct research with superyacht captains to determine the demand for the location, as both a home port and destination marina. The results from the market study also helped to shape the facilities and
services to be provided and we worked closely with our clients to perfectly match their objectives. We looked at potential design options and carried out full financial evaluations. It was important that the design incorporated the requirements of these much larger yachts, such as ensuring there was sufficient depth for berthing and space to manoeuvre, high capacity utility services, as well as providing good vehicular access
