Autumn’s Brave New Direction

It’s the season to add personality to your wardrobe

The thing to remember about fashion trends is that you don’t have to be a slave to them. Embrace a new look by all means but wear it your way. The beauty of the new autumn mood is that there is something for everyone. Feel free to pick and choose between the trends to create an outfi t that perfectly reflects your own personal style as well as your fi gure and the occasion. Enjoy a season of sumptuous fabrics and knitted textures in a punchy palette of colours, alongside bold graphics and winter florals. Never has there been a better time to say ‘I’ll wear it my way…’

Lovely Layers Stay warm during the cooler autumn

months with chic layers. By keeping a simple colour scheme, you can combine pieces from across the trends to create your own individual look. An easy relaxed- fi t knit adds style and a cosy layer over a winter bloom tunic dress worn with classic skinnies. Put your personal stamp on style with interesting accessories.

Traditional Twist

Steal a few ideas from your man’s wardrobe and embrace this year’s man-for- woman look. Be inventive with your styling and soften the masculine feel of brogues and boyfriend jeans and cardis with a soft colour palette and accessories in soft textures and interesting prints which touch on the traditional.

Soft Rock

Seventies Bo-Ho has grown up this season with soft sueded fabrics making their debut across cropped wide leg trousers and edge-to-edge jackets and coats. Look for separates in muted autumnal shades from cappuccino to chocolate, with a dash of mustard and warm spices thrown into the mix! Keep your look fi rmly in this decade with a pair of fabulous boots.

Colour & Print In Focus

Winter florals have super-sized blooms in berry tones and styles which cross the boundaries of a multitude of trends; sixties A-line, seventies Bo-Ho, graphic or patchwork - it’s your choice. Keep it fresh and up-to-date with knee high shiny boots and soft textured outer layers.

Precise Monochrome

Clean lines and sharp silhouettes are strong and totally modern. Invest in a few striking pieces to add some pizazz and personality to your classic black separates this winter. Stick to minimal cuts and understated details but go for bold monochrome graphic designs which will make you stand out for all the right reasons!

So Sixties

Go all retro with bold colours and strong graphic prints. Simply styled pieces are anything but ‘old-fashioned’ though with clean classic lines and designs which can be mixed and matched with plain black or navy to create an interesting layered look which is chic and cosy.
