Black eye liner is always in style but this season sees it making the boldest of statements in a variety of genres. Although the precise cat eye remains a classic, the runways are encouraging us to go big and bold with exaggerated double wings, graphic oversized strokes and layers of thick kohl on the lower waterline to create smudged, “slept in” charcoal eyes. Intense liner plays a huge part in creating any of these looks and we are spoilt for choice with some great easy to use products. Steal the look right off the catwalk with Mii’s Luxurious Liquid Liner which delivers a line of smooth rich colour creating both superfi ne and stronger lines that last all day. Elizabeth Arden’s Beautiful Color Precision Glide Eye Liner helps you to create smouldering looks. The colour can last up to 14 hours and is waterproof and smudgeproof. With a built in smudger and sharpener, creating these statement looks has never been so simple.

Doll-like lashes

Lashes in particular are in focus this season and mascara is back in a big way with a movement towards 60s, Twiggy inspired lashes that are spiky and bottom- heavy. Go for super bold lashes with layer upon layer of mascara to create ultra mod style lashes. Choose from Elizabeth

Arden’s Beautiful Color Maximum Volume Mascara or Mii’s Showstopping Lash Lover to create doll-like peepers.

Metallic eyes

Glittery shades of bronze, silver and gold are making a regular appearance on the catwalks for autumn. From a subtle wash of shimmer to a sweep of bold metallic colour, the heavy shimmers can create a luxurious and expensive look. Try Mii’s Forever Eye Colour Crayon in Antique or Enchanting Eye Colour in Sunbeam. Elizabeth Arden’s Beautiful Color Eye Shadow in Sterling or Precious Metals Duo are also perfect choices.

Vampy lips

The classic red lip is always timeless, elegant and still an important trend, but this season’s pout sees lips venturing into the dark and mysterious. Vampy, even goth-like lips are one of this autumn’s huge beauty trends spanning shades of brick red and burgundy to deep purples and even black! Opt for Elizabeth Arden’s Ceramide Ultra Lipstick in Mulberry or from their Beautiful Color Moisturising Lipstick Range try shades Red to Wear and Fig. Mii’s Moisturising Lip Lover in Shades Legend and Express are sure to give you lips that will make a statement!
