Lodge Farm Open daily from 9am until 5pm.


Open for dinner from 7pm on Saturday 19th September and every Saturday throughout October and November.


On 3rd October we are holding a live music night with Hoggie and the Sharpetones and hot help yourself food. Tickets £12 to include food.


Welly Wednesdays: Wednesday 23rd September, 28th October and 23rd and 30th December. Book a tour of the farm and watch the cows being milked.


We are now taking bookings for Christmas party meals on Friday and Saturday evenings in December and daily from 7th December.

Island Contemporary Craft Group to Exhibit at Osborne House


QuayCrafts are delighted to be the fi rst artists to be given the opportunity to respond to the beautiful house and grounds at Osborne House.


An exhibition of QuayCrafts work, entitled ‘Beyond The Red Rope’ will be available for all visitors to see throughout the house and grounds from 7th September.


During the half-term holiday there will be free children’s activities linked with the exhibition.

Shanklin Author Tops the Amazon Charts


Shanklin resident Sue Shepherd has topped the Amazon charts with her debut novel, “Doesn’t Everyone Have a Secret?”, published by Corazon Books. The ebook has been No. 1 in Amazon’s ‘Humorous Fiction’, ‘Romantic Comedy’ and ‘Contemporary Romance’ charts and was recently a Top 10 hit overall, reaching No.7 in the UK Kindle chart. The novel follows the lives and loves of three seemingly unconnected people, and the guardian angels that try to steer them in the right direction, but not always successfully. Sue is currently writing her second novel.


Harp on Wight Festival


The second Harp on Wight Festival will be held in various venues in Ryde from the 7th to 11th of October


There will be performances by Seckou Keita, Clara Garde, Zita Silva, Ben Creighton Griffi ths, Keziah Thomas, Marije Vijselaar and Christina Tourin and there will be workshops, lessons, concerts, exhibitions and explorations to enjoy. If you have not already been bitten by the harp bug, try a hands-on ‘have a go session’, or visit the harp- makers’ exhibition.
