transport the leaders of these troupes are two fantasy creatures, a dragon and a griffi n. The creatures have movable wings, and with the aid of magnetic connections, their Dragon and Griffi n riders remain secure in the saddle when fl ying around the playroom. Schleich’s dinosaur collection grows with the addition of two


new prehistoric monsters. There is a tough-looking Styracosaurus and a predatory Carnotaurus which features a moveable lower jaw for realistic action. Schleich’s boys attack portfolio is a major part of the ongoing


development for the company, and includes a high level of marketing support and full PR campaign that will appeal to the core market.

Pokémon TCG Black & White Plasma Storm was released in February and features 130 new cards, including brand new ‘Team Plasma’ cards plus three new ACE SPEC cards. The Pokémon brand has been buoyed recently by the news of the October release of video games, Pokémon X and Y, as well as the news of an Offi cial Pokémon magazine. Magic Box Int has a new collectable for 2013 in the form of Kobots – Dual Action Game. Kobots features 96 detailed fi gurines from six different teams. Kobots’ innovative new gameplay uses ‘Krators’ to fl ick the fi gurines’ bases and launch them either onto targets or each other. The February launch will continue to be supported by a TV and product sampling campaign as well as a dedicated app available on both Apple and Android stores.
