bit of a walk, but it’s been well worth it. Rig on a hook to the end of the line, then move up about 8-10 inches from the hook and bight on some small split shots to keep the minnow down and put a bobber on about one and a half feet from the hook. The steepness of the bank will determine how far you will need to cast. A couple of weeks ago my brother was with me and he caught an eight-pound catfish.
All of the gear I’ve mentioned can be found at Coyote Bait and Tackle.
ANDERSON LAKE OUTSIDE OFMORGAN HILL NORTHERN CALIFORNIA:
Striper fishing on the Delta has been hit or miss with the weather we’ve been having. Fish are all over the place so make sure to check with your local fishing shop before you head out. A lot of fish are being
caught on jerk baits and swim baits. With both baits you want to get in a shad pattern between four and eight inches. Trout fishing in the Sierra has picked up as the snow melts. Now is the time to hit the Sierra before the crowds hit for
the summer. Lake Davis in Plumas County has been kicking out some nice trout using fire tiger needle fish and red and gold wee dick knights. You want to fish around the island and at the north end of the lake. Tight Lines.
