Puppet Auction Tue 30 Nov - The Curve 6:30pm
This December Norwich Puppet Theatre celebrates thirty years of bringing theatre to young and old alike. To mark the 30th Birthday, the Theatre has a week of events planned across the City starting on Monday 29th November when a celebration film opens in the Fusion gallery in The Forum.
Then, on Tuesday 30th November at 6:30pm in the Curve (in The Forum) there will be an auction of celebrity decorated puppets, raising funds for the Puppet Theatre. For the last six months we have been sending out plain calico glove puppets – asking celebrities to get creative and to decorate them. These are now being returned from people like Gok Wan, Rolf Harris, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Heston Blumenthal and Quentin Blake. Each glove puppet is unique and could make the perfect Christmas gift for yourself or someone you love! Tickets for the event are £10, available from Norwich Puppet Theatre.
