Friday, Saturday and Sunday November 26th, 27th & 30th. T
he Sandringham Christmas Fair has been running since the early 1980s, offering a varied range of handcrafted items all suitably geared up for
Christmas. The fair is just the place to find those unusual and special Christmas gifts and ideas. At this year’s event there are two additional marquees devoted to food and country gifts, to enhance the visitor’s day out. The major part of the show remains the large quality craft fair, with around 150 nationally selected artists,

designers and craftsmen demonstrating their crafts and skills - craftsmen like Roy Clarke of Stratford Pottery, who will be demonstrating his own distinctive range of stoneware pottery, and the exquisite fine knitwear of Martin Green. Martin makes christening shawls, wraps, stoles and scarves on Victorian knitting machines. He is one of few who remain with the know-how to operate a frame knitting machine.
Other artists include Mark Chester, a widely travelled wildlife artist, who will be working and exhibiting a selection of originals and prints of subjects around the world, and designers like David Millman, who will be attending with his collection of ladies fashion wear.
Moving around the show to the gift marquee, many of the exhibitors have been selected from the popular Sandringham Game & Country Fair. Here you will find a good selection of country clothing, hats, hosiery and footwear supplemented with sheepskin and leather, fashion clothing and accessories.
Food is an ever-important ingredient in any Christmas celebration. Our Food Glorious Food hall has a vast array of food and drink for the festive table, from locally produced pork by Perfick Pork of Fakenham, handmade Christmas puddings, English wines, real ales, cheeses and seasonal game to tempt your gastronomic juices.
