Creative Interpretation and Interventions Wednesday 17 November - 10.30am – 4.30pm Where: Museology Room Price: £25, £17 concessions (students free) Booking: essential - 01603 593199 Join us for a day of discussion, experiment and object handling that will link theory and practice. Speakers will focus on a wide range of topics, including the rituals of the museum, touch and its impact upon interpretation, barriers to learning, multidisciplinary thinking, non-verbal dialogue and experiential learning. The day will be led by hedsor, an artistic partnership between Kimberley Foster and Karl Foster. Kimberley and Karl have been making ‘object dialogue boxes’ – innovative collections of extraordinary objects formed from surreal and unexpected combinations of everyday items – which are designed to stir up ideas, discussion and responses. hedsor will also be at the ‘Late Shift’ later on in the evening. A display of their work will be in the Link throughout the season. For details visit
