February, 2016 Ingun Develops Line of High-Current Clamps
Konstanz, Germany — Ingun has released its HKR series of high-cur- rent clamps, which attach securely to round posts and threads, and con- duct up to 200A. Due to the setup of the clamps,
they attach without scratching the surface that they contact. The lamal- lae only close after the bolts have reached the base of the clamp. This series is designed especially for round contacts which cannot be con- tacted from the top, because of a con-
tact protector. The HKR-612 M can be used in
rough testing conditions, and is designed to withstand vibrations, contamination and long testing cycles.
These clamps are mounted in a
KS-612 receptacle, and wired by means of a ring eyelet or solder cup. HKR-672 M ring eyelets are

mounted in the receptacle, the HKR0612 M is mounted onto the continuous plunger, and the HKR- 694 is wired on the receptacle with a
solder cup. Contact: Ingun USA, Inc.

Framos to Carry Euresys’ Video Capture Cards
Ottawa, Canada — Framos now dis- tributes Euresys’ Picolo HD cards — high-performance PCIe video cap- ture cards compatible with SDI, HDMI, DVI, and analog video sources.
Acquiring high-definition color,
1080p video signals from one HD camera in a PC environment, the frame grabbers are suitable for clear and contrasting images in applica- tions for dentistry, image-guided sur- gery, lab equipment, and micro- scopes. In addition, the cards offer the alternative of connecting a stan- dard-definition analog Y/C or com- posite video source. The frame grab- ber also has up to two streams of H.264 onboard compression. The cards support PCIe stan-
dard and come with up to four video input connectors, stereo and digital audio inputs, 16 I/O lines, Windows® compatible drivers, DirectShow, and C APIs. The incorporated studio soft- ware, which has been developed to ease the first customer experience as well as board integration, displays horizontal and vertical scales or any shape as overlay and saves images, and records H.264 AVI files. This free software and the source code are provided with the video capture cards.
Many medical applications can
benefit from frame grabber solutions. For insurance or educational purpos- es in surgery and dental equipment, they are installed as interface devices with HD cameras such as Sony FCBs in-operating lights. As part of HD video acquisition
consoles for operating rooms, the series of cards supports and records examination data and video, and the connection to the hospital picture archiving and communication system (PACS). For the microscopy market in life science and industrial applica- tions, live videos can be displayed and recorded from cameras installed
on equipment. Contact: Framos Technologies, Inc., 57 Auriga Drive, Suite 203,
