develop the same enthusiasmas I have for the results we can achieve together.”

What do you thinkmakes your salon unique?

“I believe it’smy passion for the work I do, andmy personal connection with all ofmy clients. I use all of the productsmyself and amproud to show offmy own line-free complexion as an example of what amature woman can achieve.

“I also offer an earlymorning service for professional women andmen who would like a treatment before a busy day in the office (treatments are available from6.30am in themorning).”

You have built your business around using the latest state-of-the-art equipment. What’s important to you when choosing this?

“I have been loyal to the CACI brand since I started in the business. They have provided excellent training and support over the years and are constantly innovating with new techniques and products.

“I started usingmy Skinbreezemachine about threemonths ago. It’s been a big hit withmy clients who are always askingme about the latest technology. It integrates very well withmy other CACI facial treatments, but the O² infusion systemgoes that one step beyond what I could do before.”

How has this particular piece of equipment benefitted you and your business?

“I was looking for amethod to infuse facial products deeper into the dermis of the skin; I had triedmicro-needling but found it too invasive and uncomfortable for the client. The O² infusion of Skinbreeze givesme that facility to push the products deep into the skin in a completely safe and painless way. It gets the results I want and the clients love it.

“Plus, I have been able to increasemy prices by providing a premiumservice that is not available elsewhere inmy region.”

“Over a course of 10 CACI treatments clients will start to really feel the benefits after about the third session. With the addition of a Skinbreeze treatment, I can demonstrate benefits after just one session; itmakes it easier to sellmy full course of treatments.

“It has also givenme an added advantage in retainingmy regular customers who continue to come tome every fortnight on their regularmaintenance programme. I’ve been getting some very positive feedback texts on the day after treatment.”

With Trisha as testament to the effectiveness of her treatments (she has amazing skin and looks significantly younger than her age, she confides), I was looking forward to my Skinbreeze anti-ageing facial which I knew could be tailored to treat my differing areas of concern (an oily forehead along with a dehydrated chin).

After cleansing my face, Trisha began with the Skinbreeze OrbitalMicrodermabrasion using a medium setting. I was surprised how quiet this machine is; it’s virtually silent meaning this was the most relaxingMicrodermabrasion treatment I’ve experienced.Whilst this crystal-free technology gentle peeled my skin, a red LED was passed across the cells, stimulating collagen and increasing circulation. Trisha then performed a second pass of Microdermabrasion, this time accompanied by a blue light, to act as a powerful antiseptic, killing bacteria and cooling inflammation.

This was followed by a facial massage using the hand-piece, which left my skin feeling rejuvenated and alive.

Next SkinbreezeWrinkle Filler Serum was applied around my jowls, mouth and eye area and ‘pushed’ into the dermis using the O² infusion function, which uses a compressed air delivery system to enhance absorption.

A HydroMask was then applied, featuring Hydrolysed Collagen, HyaluronicAcid and pure water to sooth and calm the skin. Trisha again used the O² infusion function to boost the mask’s effectiveness, this time with shorter pulses of oxygen.

To help my dehydrated areas, Trisha incorporated a session of microcurrent using her CACI Ultimate machine, demonstrating how each client receives a truly bespoke facial.

My treatment concluded with an application of moisturiser, and the advice to apply an SPF the next morning. My skin felt plumped and smoothed, and I was able to confidently leave the salon without feeling the need to wear any of my usual make-up.

Is there anyone in the industry who inspires you?

“I just have to look in themirror! (laughs). No,my customers aremy inspiration. Positive feed-back fromsatisfied clients is wonderfulmotivation.”

What is the best piece of advice you could offer readers for running a successful salon?

“Try to offer the best service possible and charge accordingly. When potential clients aremotivated to take that big step in starting a course of beauty treatments they are attracted to professionalismand proven results, not a cheaper price.”
