Paul has advised a wide range of clients (based within the UK and overseas) on a variety of disputes. He has particular expertise in managing and resolving disputes arising from the running, sale and including;

shareholder disputes, breach of director's fiduciary duty claims,

Companies Act 2006 Petitions, share sale warranty claims and fraud claims. Bringing and defending emergency injunction proceedings is also a regular part of Paul's caseload.

Paul has experience in managing large scale disputes and whilst he has substantial trial expertise, Paul is a keen supporter and regular user of appropriate alternative dispute resolution techniques such as mediation. Paul conducted his

law (with

commendation) from Nottingham Law School. Other

specialisms first

mediation in 2000 and since then has been involved in dozens of mediation on behalf of clients. In November 2010 Paul was awarded the “Mediation Champion” award from CEDR ( a leading UK mediation provider) for his commitment to mediation and in recognition of the number of disputes Paul has mediated for clients.

Paul is also experienced in IP disputes and in 2009 obtained a post-graduate diploma

partnership disputes (particularly in relation to professionals), defamation, data protection, confidential information and restrictive covenant claims and professional negligence.

In 2011 Paul was appointed a deputy district judge on the Northern circuit.
