Microgaming creates first mobile millionaire

$1 million NZD, creating the world’s first ever mobile slot millionaire. The staggering €3,036,433.21 jackpot was hit by a German Casino La Vida player. With a guaranteed prize pool of one million, Mega Moolah’s jackpot was

Realistic signs with Paddy Power

ealistic Games has signed a deal to supply online gaming content to Paddy Power’s Mobile Games sites. The high quality, on-demand, HTML games include roulette, blackjack, five 5-reel slots and seven 3-reel ones,


with more to be delivered through the year. All are specifically designed for iPhones and iPads, as well Android phones and tablets. Among the 14 games are the popular slots Pirate Radio, Tutankhamun, Snakes and Ladders, Bullseye and Pentagram. They will be delivered on Realistic Games’ own in-house ReGaL server, via an Openbet RGI integration. The company’s commercial director, Andy Harris, said the Wantage-based company were delighted to have tied up the multi-year deal with the Irish bookmaker, adding: “This fits in perfectly with our strategy of partnering with industry-leading operators around the world – and they don’t come any bigger or better than Paddy Power. They are very much aligned with us in terms of our focus on mobile and belief that the channel is the key to future success in eGaming. I’m confident this will be a great deal for both parties.” Paddy Power has put in place a significant marketing campaign to support the launch. Mobile Games Manager Lucinda Kelly, said: “We’re very excited about the new Mobile Games and very pleased to have partnered with Realistic Games. Their passion, product knowledge, and understanding of the industry was crucial in our decision to select them, and I’m convinced our customers are going to love their games.” Realistic Games are also going to be providing Flash games to Paddy Power on their traditional PC Games website.

Cubeia Launches Social Poker Network

oftware development company Cubeia has unveiled Cubeia Social, a social poker network enabling anyone to create and run their very own social poker site. Cubeiam Social has a fully-responsive HTML5 poker client that runs on most mobile devices and computers and is compatible with all operating systems and major browsers. A hassle-free sign-up process allows operators to quickly get up and running with a minimum of fuss and technical know-how. Based on Cubeia’s commercial poker platform, the Cubeia Social network boasts straight-forward website integration and a WordPress plugin. It also offers ‘skinning’ and other brand customisations with CCS to achieve a unique experience for an operator’s players within the shared network. Currently in a BETA release, Cubeia Social handles all the behind-the-scenes


technical aspects of the game, which allows operators to concentrate on promoting their site and brand. Operators then receive a share of all revenue generated by their players. Games on offer for operators include Texas Hold’em, fixed, pot and no-limit ring games, multi-table tournaments and sit ‘n go’s. Multi-tabling is also available.
