John Moore RIP

January saw the sad news that chairman of Moore Large John Moore had passed away. The trade rushed to pay tribute to the past president of the cycle industry's Centenary Club. Also a long- time member of the Pickwick Bicycle Club, Moore was a bicycle retailer before turning to distribution and wholesale. Moore Large became one of the first national wholesalers selling direct to retail – at the time when wholesalers were regional and bought from importers.
