JAMES LATHAM TO UNVEIL EXCITING NEW PRODUCTS AT SURFACE DESIGN SHOW 2013

James Latham is gearing up for the Surface Design Show in February where, as well as showcasing some of it’s already established premium surface products (on stands: 108, 110 and 112), it will unveil two exciting new surface materials for 2013 which are bound to create plenty of interest among architects and interior designers in the retail and shopfitting sectors.

Manufactured by Losan, ‘Allure’ is an exciting range of ‘on-trend’ decorative products which, as well as an extensive palette of bold and vibrant colours, smoked and stained veneers and a mirror laminate, includes a range of contemporary, real stone laminate which is sure to be a popular option.

Also new for 2013 is Nevamar, a High Pressure Laminate (HPL) which boasts a unique armoured protection (ARP) technology, meaning it can stand up to more abuse than similar products. Te result is a decorative product that will look newer for longer.

Te Latham’s stand will also be featuring its unique solid surface material, HI-MACS®, which can be thermoformed to almost any 3D shape and joined so that it is visually seamless. Also on show will be the high quality, solid- wood laminated panel, Texwood, plus Synergii from Wilsonart, a premium HPL worktop.

HIF (Holz in Form) Finesse, a revolution in conventional timber veneer paneling which gives dimension, depth and texture to an otherwise flat surface and offers eleven embossed MDF panels - each supplied with its own unique textured finish - will also be on show.

Plus, there will be an extensive range of decking and cladding materials which as well as some of the more traditional hardwoods - many of which can be offered with full FSC certification - will include Accoya®, a highly durable and dimensionally stable certified softwood which delivers long lasting high performance and is increasingly being specified for decking and cladding applications which are presently the preserve of non-sustainable materials.

Chris Sutton, director of James Latham commented, “We are really excited about this year’s show, not least because it’s the perfect platform for us to showcase what is one of the UK’s widest ranges of innovative surface solutions available from one supplier, and directly from stock. Plus, I’m confident that these new additions for 2013 are certain to have a big impact with the A&D market.”

Trough 10 strategically based depots, James Latham has nationwide coverage across the UK and Ireland and is able to offer all of these products for prompt collection or delivery within 24-72 hours, depending on location.
