Toys galore for children’s charity Barnardo’s Thousands of pounds worth of toys will be donated to Barnardo’s when volunteers take part in a trolley dash at the 2012 Toy Fair. The children’s charity will be the beneficiary of the exhibition at Olympia’s Grand Hall for the eighth year running. Around 60 volunteers will collect a variety of toys donated by more than 200 exhibitors which will be distributed to the charity’s London, east, and south-east services. Ray Ellis, Toy Fair Co-ordinator, has said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to collect donations of top-quality toys for some of the charity’s services. “The generosity of the exhibitors and the hard work of our volunteers will really benefit some of the disadvantaged children and young people we work with.”
