Low phase noise OCXO ready to place

IQD has unveiled a new IQOV-90 series high stability low phase noise OCXO, offering a range of outputs and supply voltages across a frequency range of 10 to 40MHz.

Improvements in the oscillator circuit design are claimed to

reduce typical phase noise to -98dBc/Hz@1Hz and -152dBc/Hz@1kHz. Temperature stability is said to be better than ±5ppb over the -20 to 70°C range.

Housed in a 25.4 by 22.0 by 12.3mmpackage, the design

features an FR4 PCB andmetal lid. With package quantities of 75pcs per reel, the device suits automatic SMD production.

With standard voltages of 12, 5.0 or 3.3 and sinewave or

HCMOS output, the components suit base stations, repeater stations, instrumentation, medical andmeasurement equipment. Alternative supply voltages and outputs can be developed.

The IQOV-90 series can be specified with a frequency

adjustment option and reference voltage output where required. An alarmis available which indicates when the OCXO is at a stable working condition.

Murata has increased its XRCGB-Mseries of hybrid crystal resonators with a 26MHz device. Specifications include a frequency tolerance of less than ± 30ppmand operating range from-30 to 85°C with a frequency shift of ± 40 ppm. Frequency aging is less than ±5ppmper year.Measuring 2.0 by 1.6 by 0.7mm, the part compares favourably to quartz crystal equivalents.

Murata's hybrid crystal resonator family features a Tokyo Denpa

quartz crystal element andMurata's ceramic resonator technology in the same package. Claimed benefits are a small, low cost device offering the precision of quartz.

Four connection pads on the base aid the process of quartz

replacement. www.murata.eu
