Eliminate vibration worries
Suyin has developed a new series of vibration-resistant right-angled SMT board-to-board connectors with a pitch of 1.0mm. Sliding contact technology supports reliable connection, even when exposed to high impact and vibration as per EIA-364-28 D and EIA-364-27 B test standards. The connectors are therefore ideal formobile devices and systems in harsh environments, fromindustrial automation to transportation technology.
Connectors are availablewith pin counts from10 to 50 contacts, in
increments of 10. Devices are said to offer compact proportions,with a 10-pin plug-and-socket connection requiring only 14.35 by 9.0 by 3.35mm when connected. The plastic housing for both sockets and plugs also incorporates guides for reliablemating.Operating temperature ranges from–40 to 105°C,with an contact rating of 20V DC or 5A per pin.
In other news fromSuyin, the company has launched an industrial-
grade CompactFlash card connectorwith integrated ejectionmechanism. The 127631MB050XX06XX connector features a robustmetal housing and has also been subjected to vibration testing according to EIA-364-28 (III) and shock testing according to EIA-364-27 (A).
This Type-II, 50-position SMT CF card connectorwith a height of
5.0mm, features two additional through-hole (THT) solder contacts to attach to the PCB, evenwhen subject to high insertion and extraction forces. Two locating posts helpmakemounting easier and provide additionalmechanical stability.
Depending on the order volume and delivery times, Suyin can
accommodate customer-specification adaptations, such as higher mating cycles, different types of contact plating and special colours.
