We interview Dave Morley of TC Koi, a dealer that offers an excellent service for all levels of koi keeper, from the novice right through to the most experienced hobbyist
How long have you been in business? We have had the Town & Country Nurseries for 35 years. We have dabbled in koi in the past, but we have really stocked koi for the last 15 years. We now do our own range of products including filters and dechlorinators.
Our staff (myself, Maureen, Dave and Sarah) are friendly and experienced and are happy to help with any query large or small.

need! Dry goods, filters, koi, nets, pumps, bonsai trees! Ninety percent of what you need can be taken away with you on the day, and if we haven’t got it we will try to get it to you as soon as possible.
We have several quarantine sections, a large display pond, and lots of koi vats around the outlet. All new koi go through a settlement and quarantine period of a minimum of four weeks before they go on sale.
The Bekko pictured in the display pond is 86cm-plus and is thought to be the biggest Bekko in the UK.
We have definitely been bitten by the bug as we can’t think of ever not having koi now!
