Stranded? The MOA Hotline is now available to help

BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, BMW

Motorcycle Owners of America members have yet another valuable resource in their tool kits, offering them the peace of mind of knowing they’ve got a friend just a phone call away, should the unexpected occur while on the road. Powered by Global Rescue, the

MOA Hotline connects MOA mem- bers to a Global Rescue representa- tive 24 hours a day, seven days a week, able to help them find a hotel, camp- ground, towing service, BMW dealer or even Owners Anonymous Book information when emergencies strike. With a single phone call, all MOA members now have access to this concierge service whenever they find themselves in need. Best of all, this service is free to all current BMW MOA members. According to MOA Executive

Director Bob Aldridge, the idea for an all-inclusive help-line for motorcyclists came as he tried to help some stranded riders who called the MOA office looking for Owners Anonymous Book help. “A breakdown of any kind can be very

frustrating,” said Aldridge. “We’ve all been there and sometimes you just need some- one to say, ‘Let me help and take care of this for you.’” By calling the MOA Hotline, not only

can Global Rescue help stranded riders with accommodations, towing or direc- tions to the nearest dealer and service arrangements, but they can also contact the member’s roadside assistance provider. “With crisis management and emer-

gency response services for global travelers as their core business, Global Rescue representatives are highly skilled and very good at what they do,” Aldridge said. “The stranded MOA member only needs to find a safe place to make a phone call, and the

Global Rescue representative will take care of the rest.” This MOA Hotline is free and adds to a

continually growing list of benefits all members of the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America can enjoy. The service begins October 1 and will immediately be avail- able to all current MOA members by calling the MOA Hotline at 617-426-6621. “We are very excited to offer this free

service to MOA members without any change in membership rates. We feel strongly about this partnership with Global Rescue and are confident that MOA mem- bers will see this as a valuable service,” Aldridge said. For more than a decade, Global Rescue

has provided individuals, families, busi- nesses and governments with critical emer- gency response services, and with their partnership with Johns Hopkins Medicine, Global Rescue has grown to become the recognized leader in this market.
