FALL PROTECTION Self-Retracting Lifelines Economy/Disposable Self-Retracting Lifelines
Self-Retracting Lifelines feed out either cable or webbing, then retract automatically as the worker gets closer to the device. These units prevent excessive free fall distances and decrease the chances of injury during a fall. These economy models are considered disposable and should be immediately discarded if they are involved in a fall. All styles require no annual factory certification and meet applicable OSHA and ANSI standards.
• Miller TurboLite Personal Fall Limiter is an effective solution for applications with limited fall clearance. It is extremely compact and light-weight – comparable to a shock-absorbing lanyard. The unit attaches directly to the back d-ring of a harness for increased mobility. A high-impact nylon housing and abrasion-resistant webbing provide long service life.
• Miller MiniLite Fall Limiter fits in the palm of your hand and arrests free falls within inches. The 11' working capacity is more than any other unit of its size on the market. The stainless steel interior, frame and components are corrosion resistant. A visual load indicator warns that the unit has been involved in a fall and should be removed from service.
• Miller Titan Self-Retracting Lifeline is constructed with a steel frame and is designed for a full range of workplace applications. The quick-activating stainless steel braking mechanism arrests free falls. The snap hook body connector swivels to limit twisting.
• Protecta Rebel Self-Retracting Lifelines extend and retract automatically, allowing unhindered movement around the work area. A brake activates in the event of a fall, stopping the worker within inches and limits arresting forces. The impact indicator produces visual proof of a fall arrest. Choose from models with a nylon webbing and aluminum housing; or a galvanized steel wire rope and a thermoplastic housing.
