Air Purifying RESPIRATORY
Conformable Nose Clip
Respirators for Dusty Conditions
The use of N-Series Respirators is typically limited only by hygiene, damage and increased breathing resistance. However, when working in very dirty or dusty workplaces that may result in high filter loading (200 mg), service time should be limited to 8 hours of continuous or intermittent use, unless an evaluation is done to prove that extended use will not significantly degrade efficiency levels.

When choosing a Respirator for Dusty Conditions, consider the following features:
• 3M™ Cool Flow™ Exhalation Valve – A patented one-way valve for easy exhalation and cool, dry comfort.
• Conformable Noseclip – Standard (S) or M-Noseclip (M) adjusts easily for fewer pressure points.
• Advanced Electret Media – Advanced electrostatically- charged microfibers make breathing easier and cooler.

Under NIOSH 42 CFR 84 there are nine classes of filters comprised of three levels of minimum filter efficiency and three categories of resistance to the effects of oil in the workplace.
The three different levels of filtration efficiency are 95%, 99% and 99.97% (100) against the most difficult particle size to filter.
