Arc Plug™ Earplugs
These plugs give you the best of both worlds – the power to hear and protection from arc blasts. The yellow end of the Arc Plug is uniquely designed to allow wearers to hear conversations, signals and other critical sounds clearly and without impairment. In the case of an arc blast, the impulse noise will cause the plug’s noise filter to react instantly and the noise will be suppressed to a safer level. This greatly reduces the chance of hearing damage and concussive disorientation. The red end of the Arc Plug works the same as any traditional earplug to provide steady protection from constant high-level sound sources. Plugs are washable, reusable and contain no batteries or moving parts. Each pair comes with a removable flame-retardant black cord and case. Price per pair.
