CLOTHING Nomex® III A Coveralls
Coveralls self-extinguish when taken away from the source of flames. This aramid and static-dissipative fiber blend helps shield the wearer from flames, flash fires and electric arcs. This clothing is extremely durable, lightweight and inherently flame resistant. Coveralls feature a covered snap front, an elasticized waistband and a 6-pocket design – two chest, two hip and two back. Choose from a variety of weights, colors, lengths and sizes. 4.5 Oz. Clothing has an arc rating of 5.5 cal/cm2

Fact NFPA 70E, 2004 – Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace
This standard addresses electrical safety requirements for workplaces that are necessary for the practical safeguarding of employees relative to the hazards associated with electrical energy.
Testing includes electric arc exposure, flame resistance (before and after 25 wash/dry cycles), tear resistance, breaking strength, dimensional change in laundering, colorfastness to laundering/dry cleaning, and yarn slippage.
NFPA 2112, 2012 – Standard on Flame-Resistant Garments for Protection Against Flash Fire
The standard specifies the minimum performance requirements and test methods for flame-resistant fabrics and components; and the design and certification requirements for garments for use in areas at risk from flash fires.
Testing includes flame resistance (before and after 100 wash/dry cycles), thermal protective performance (TPP), heat resistance, thermal shrinkage, and manikin flash fire.

Coveralls are constructed of 88% cotton and 12% flame-resist- ant nylon fabric to produce a soft feel and an extended wear life. Coveralls feature a snap front closure, side pass-through openings, an elasticized waistband and a 32"L inseam. Two chest pockets, two hip pockets and two back pockets provide plenty of space for tools and equipment. Clothing has an arc rating of 12 cal/cm2
