PAPR RESPIRATORY PROTECTION 9100 Series PAPR’s
These PAPR’s are a compact and lightweight system for welders. The high-efficiency particulate (HEPA) filter can be “stacked” onto an optional Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Cartridge for additional protection against organic vapors and acid gases. You don’t need to change the filter and cartridge at the same time. The slim profile is designed to go into tight spaces. PAPR is designed to provide airflow at a constant nominal rate of approximately 7 CFM, regardless of the battery’s charge or the particle loading of the filter. NiMH battery charges in 4 hours with a smart charger that won’t ever overcharge. A fully-charged battery will last 8-10 hours. Audible and visual alarms signal low airflow and low battery charge.
Helmet Options:
• 9100-Air combines auto darkening technology with an innovative wide-view grinding visor to give welders an all-in-one solution. The large 8" X 41
" protective visor with 105° viewing angle significantly increases your field of view in all directions. A smooth flip-up pivot mechanism allows for effortless one-handed use and quick transition between welding and grinding modes. SideWindows with Shade 5 filters allow you to see others working around you. Front and side air exhaust vents minimize fogging and enhance comfort. A flame-resistant head cover comes standard and optional flame-resistant Extended Crown or Ear and Neck Protection Accessories are also available. Meets ANSI Z87.1-2010 impact standard.

• 9100 FX-Air offers front-of-face air delivery to help provide cooling for hot work environments, while keeping the grinding visor virtually fog free. The clear inner grinding visor, widened to 8" X 41
⁄4 " for increased
peripheral vision, enables users to work in tight spaces without turning their head. A smooth flip-up pivot mechanism allows for effortless one-handed use and quick transition between welding and grinding modes. Shade 5 SideWindows provide peripheral vision for increased safety when the welding shield is in place. The flexible breathing tube is attached to the headband, instead of the helmet, so there is less pulling on the helmet from the breathing tube. Extended helmet coverage helps to protect from harmful UV rays. A flame-resistant head cover comes standard and an optional flame-resistant Extended Ear and Neck Protection Accessory is also available. Meets ANSI Z87.1-2010 impact standard.
• 9100 MP integrates five levels of welder protection – head, eye, face, respiratory and hearing – into one comfortable and easy-to-use system. This wide (8" X 41
⁄4 "), curved, protective visor offers excellent views up,
down and peripherally. Two Shade 5 passive SideWindows add peripheral welding vision. The hard hat shell is made from heat-resistant polycarbonate and meets the ANSI Z89.1-2009 requirements for Type 1 Class G hard hats. Unit is designed to work with our optional 3M™ Peltor™ Earmuffs (call for details). Meets ANSI Z87.1-2010 impact standard.
Filter Options
• 9100V shades 5, 8 – 13, a viewing area of 1.8" X 3.7" and a battery life of 2800 hours. A solar panel helps power the filter and extend battery life.
• 9100X offers shades 8 – 13, a viewing area of 2.1" X 4.2" and a battery life of 2500 hours. A solar panel helps power the filter and extend battery life.
• 9100XX offers shades 8 – 13, a viewing area of 2.8" X 4.2" and a battery life of 2000 hours.
