Powertrack 89 Dynastar is calling its Powertrack 89 the “template of modern ski design” as it combines the best elements of modern freeride and on-trail performance to deliver a progressive breakthrough blend of playfulness, versatility, and power in frontside snow conditions (where instructors do most of their skiing and teaching). Te dimensions of this ski are designed to make it super maneuverable, quick and easy to steer, with exceptional carving capabilities for great form and razor-perfect lesson demonstrations. Like the Intense, it boasts the brand’s all-new, industry-first active suspension – aka Powerdrive – to absorb changing terrain, effectively planting the ski to the snow to unleash quiet acceleration, uncompromising power, and dynamic ski control. It also features early rise rocker for easier turn initiation – especially when skiing aggressive lines – and quicker carving, as well as classic camber for power and edge grip. Lengths: 158, 166, 174, 182cm Dimensions: 121-72-106mm (all lengths)

FLOW

Fuse Fusion Te Flow Fuse bindings feature Flow’s dual- entry system, which Marketing Director Dale Rehberg said is ideal for instructors who get in and out of their bindings all day long. “With our dual-entry system, you can use these bindings as they are meant to be, with our reclining hibacks, or you can use them as a traditional two-strap binding with our LSR ratchets.” Flow’s straps also offer added padding for less foot pain, while the Flow Power Triangle gives immediate power transfer to your board when you need it most.

Talon Focus Rehberg said the Flow Talon boot is another great item for AASI members for a few

reasons. “First and foremost the Talon boot features a waterproof bladder up to the ankle area; this means less wet feet for those in the snow all day long. Te next reason is because our OC-Kush Hell & Forefoot dampening makes these boots ultra-comfortable. Toss in our space blanket technology [a thermal insulating barrier between the outsole and the liner] for warmer feet and a Silvadur antimicrobial finish inside your liners to reduce odor and you have a great boot for your needs.”

Blackout Te Blackout is a directional-twin, all- mountain board that features Flow’s pop- cam camber profile (a mix of camber underfoot and a flat profile between the bindings for grip on ice and hardpack) for great control and response. Tis board also features Kush-Control technology that consists of three unique urethane placements strategically added in the top sheet, sidewalls, and base of the board for the smoothest and strongest ride on the mountain. Rehberg adds, “We also offer our Performance Guarantee to show how much we stand behind the quality of our boards.” Lengths: 153, 156, 159, 160, 162cm

Specifically, the Magnum, Rally, and Titan are being recommended for PSIA members as they are lively underfoot, with a playful yet stable feel. While the Supershapes offer very high performance for the advanced/ expert skier, they are also user-friendly, and make it easy to initiate turns, giving a skier the confidence to go fast and carve. On the technological side, each of the
